11 1/2 Months

I have to begin by apologizing for the delay in getting this update posted. As most of you know, work on my dissertation has taken up every free moment that I'm not teaching or taking care of our little Miss Zella. The good news is that we were at least taking pictures along the way. The ones posted below are probably out of order, but just getting them up here is a big enough accomplishment for me right now. I also have some videos that I will try to post in the next day or two. Enjoy!

My adorable outfit from Oma Joanne.

Here I am with all of the dolls from Germany & Hungary that my Oma sent as well.

Group shot with Gretel, me, Hansel, & Katarina (her "baby doll"). Katarina's outfit is actually much more intricate and beautiful, but the bling pieces had to be stored away while I'm still in my "chew on everything" phase.

Just tidying up a bit.

Outside touch Poppy's bougainvillea plant, wearing my dress from Nana K.

I LOVE Hansel!

Having lunch with Pops & Nana K in Galveston.

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.

Seriously... help me!

Catching a bit of sun with Daddy. Notice how I maneuvered to get the best lighting.

Wearing my Halloween costume to school.

Woo-hoo... first time on a swing!

All of the pictures below are from a photo session we did with Zella this past Saturday. I can promise you that this child smiles all the time, but sign her up for professional photos and she suddenly turns into Stoic Sally. We had the hardest time coaxing a smile out of her. She was obviously the cutest child there, hands down, and the pictures turned out great (we think).
